The Gerber Paraframe Tanto Black  is a tactical version of the classic Paraframe. The pocket knife combines an open frame with a tanto-shaped blade. Both completely in black. Because of the open frame the Paraframe Tanto is very light-weight and easy to clean if necessary. This is a real EDC knife.
The blade is made from 7Cr17MoV steel. This steel is enhanced with a black coating to make it more corrosion resistant. The edge is partially serrated. Great when opening cardboard or cutting through rope. The open handle of the Paraframe Tanto is made from stainless 3Cr13 steel.Â
You can open the knife with one hand with the thumb studs on the blade. When opened the knife locked by a framelock. With a little practice you can also close the knife with one hand, even though this might take some getting used to at first. The practical tip-down pocket clip enables you to easily attach the knife to your pocket or belt
